Wahz Happ'nin News
Wow! We had an amazing 2017! The Doo-Wahs enjoyed some travelling (imagine that!) and we visited many beautiful and exciting places. There were a few fly-dates back east to New York and New Jersey, as well as a couple of concerts in the gorgeous state of Ohio. The summer Fair season took us down to Poteet, Texas for a week at the Strawberry Festival and we'll be heading back there in 2018. We had a blast up at the Alaska State Fair and The Washington State Fair. We spent some time in Montana and Wyoming as well as some rockin' good times in Colorado. All in all it was a tremendous year.
We also said a fond adios to our long-term drummer Phil Roach and our dynamic fiddle player Tim Weed. But we welcome Peter Kaye and Aaron Castilla to the ranks; they are doing a fine job and filling the boots of our former musical colleagues. The Doris Davies Memorial Bike Drive was a rousing success, and the Doo-Wahs raised enough funds to give away 300 bikes to well-deserving kids from the Victorville School District! We will do it again in 2018.
We thank you for visiting the website and wish you and yours a happy and prosperous 2018 filled with music and joy. Please check out our tour schedule and join us sometime. And remember, enjoy the ride with the Legendary Doo-Wah Riders, now celebrating our 40th Anniversary.

The Legendary Doo-Wah Riders are celebrating their 40th Anniversary!
Since 1978 there has been no one else like the Doo-Wah Riders. For over 40 years they have been riding their own patch of the musical range throughout the west. They possess the rare combination of many years of experience and youthful energy, fired up by a love for what they do. The Doo-Wahs are country, with a unique, original sound. Defined by their sound... "high energy country with a cajun twist", the Doo-Wah Riders' ultra-tight musicianship and powerful arrangements of classic and original songs have made them favorites everywhere they go.
This band loves honky tonks as well as concert stages and prides itself in catering to each audience with a warm personal touch.
We had a Marty Davis Encounter!
During our recently completed Arizona Tour we ran in to our good friends Marty and Kate Davis in Mesa, AZ. And look who tagged along? The amazing Brady Goss, who was also in town playing some shows. You never know who you'll find out on the road, but it's always a treat to hang out with our besties!
Meet our alter-ego 'Crawdaddio'!!
Every night is Mardis Gras when Crawdaddio is in town! Since 1978, this band brings the spirit and rhythm of the bayou to life with their driving zydeco beat. Crawdaddio has performed at festivals, clubs, and corporate events all over the country. For five years they headlined Disney’s Mardis Gras Celebration at Pleasure Island in Orlando, Florida. The band performs monthly at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen and on the Main Stage at Downtown Disney, Anaheim, CA. Crawdaddio was recently featured at the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Festival in 2017.
